Driveway & Walkway Paving in Central New Jersey
Paver, concrete and asphalt driveways, plus front walkways and sidewalks — from tear-out to final finish. Owner-led by Manasses Ribeiro, NJ HIC #13VH10566200.
Your driveway and front walk are the first things people see, and the hardest-working surfaces on your property. Cars turn on them, plows scrape them, and salt and freeze-thaw cycles work on them all winter. We pave both, in pavers, concrete or asphalt, and we’ll tell you honestly which fits your house, lot and budget.
Driveway paving
- Paver driveways. Interlocking pavers on a deep compacted base, held by edge restraint. Herringbone and 90-degree patterns hold up best under turning tires. Any section can be lifted and relaid later — no patches.
- Concrete driveways. Poured on a compacted base, with control joints cut so cracking follows the joints. Broom finish for traction; add a paver border or apron for a custom look. See concrete masonry.
- Asphalt driveways. Hot-mix asphalt over a graded and compacted stone base, rolled tight with clean edges — the most economical way to replace a cracked driveway.
Walkway paving
- Paver walkways — straight or curved, with a contrasting border, locked with edge restraint so curves keep their shape.
- Concrete sidewalks — broom-finished, with tooled joints. In the town right-of-way, we follow the town’s specs.
- Landings and steps — built on the same base so the whole entry stays level.
Built for New Jersey winters
Driveways and walks that fail in NJ almost always fail from below. A thin or soft base lets water sit under the surface; when it freezes, it heaves. Every job starts with grading so water runs away from the garage and house, removal of soft soil, and a base compacted in lifts.
Finish the edges
A paver or Belgian block border, planting beds and lighting along the drive — that’s driveway landscaping, and it’s what makes a paved driveway look custom.

Driveway & Walkway Paving: common questions
Pavers vs. concrete vs. asphalt — which is best for my driveway?
Asphalt is the most economical and handles plowing well, but needs sealing over the years. Concrete gives a clean, bright surface with a long service life when it's jointed and cured correctly. Pavers cost the most, look the most upscale, and can be repaired one section at a time. At the estimate we compare all three for your house and budget.
When can I drive on a new driveway?
It depends on the material. Pavers can usually take traffic once compacted and sanded; asphalt and concrete need curing time, concrete the longest. We give you the exact date for your job.
Do you remove the old driveway?
Yes. Tear-out, hauling and disposal are included in the estimate — no surprise dumpster charges.
Can you pave the walkway at the same time as the driveway?
Yes, and it usually looks best that way — matching borders and materials, with the walk tied cleanly into the driveway.
